Job Posting - Human Resources Coach
Ensures that policies, procedures, and reporting practices are in compliance with federal and state regulations. Recruit, screen, test, and recommend qualified applicants for hire. Plan and conduct new employee orientation to foster understanding and effectual commitment to company mission, vision and values. Organize special employee related events to promote camaraderie and team building. Prepare reports and recommend procedures to reduce absenteeism and turnover. Administer time and attendance reports, garnishments and payroll input. Oversee the administration of Health benefits. Monitor Leave of Absence program ensuring proper compliance with all leave related regulations. Conducts required trainings including harassment prevention, some safety trainings, and others as required. Oversee the administration of Workers Compensation claims, Safety Committee and OSHA compliance. Direct Reports include: Purchasing Coach, HR/Purchasing Admin, Custodian, Cafeteria and IS Support. Prepare employee separation notices and related documentation, and conduct exit interviews to determine reasons behind separation.
Background Required Bachelor's Degree required. Bilingual Spanish/English required. A minimum 3 years of demonstrated competence in the administration of all human resource generalist functions, preferably in the agriculture industry. Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to influence others to work effectively with diverse groups. Demonstrated success in employing discretion, diplomacy, tact, judgment and patience in an HR role. SPR Certification highly desired.
